Dining options at Sherburne Commons
At Sherburne Commons, we pay attention to every detail, offering residents exceptional choices. Our dining plan provides for a daily meal of your choosing. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days per week and offer take-home or delivery service. Additional meals are available as desired.

Our Executive Chef is John Maynard. John joins us from St. Lucia with a career as a chef beginning in 1983. He has served as the Executive Chef in numerous Hotel and Resorts before coming to Nantucket in 2016 and joining the Sherburne Team in 2021. Chef Maynard received training in St. Lucia, Venezuela, Holland and lastly at the Institute Regional De Tourisme et D’Hotellerie in France. He has had the pleasure throughout his career of cooking for various artists and political figures at the time including Dr. Kenny Anthony Prime Minister of St. Lucia, the late Ambassador Christopher Thomas, artists Chaka Khan and Peabo Bryson, and his Royal Highness Prince Phillip.
